| April is quite a month for many of us – Easter festivities have come and gone, springtime is in full swing, and tax season comes to a close. But during the last few years, Earth Day has gained more of our attention during the month of April.
Earth Day, which falls on Sunday, April 22 this year, gives us a chance to ponder the importance of mother earth, and ask ourselves what more we can do to protect its future.
When it comes to your relationship with Kinecta, let’s ask this question - How can your Kinecta relationship be eco-friendlier?
It’s actually pretty quick and easy. Here are 5 ways that you can get on eco-friendly terms with Kinecta:
1) Download the Kinecta Direct Mobile Banking App We love it when you visit us in person, but you can save yourself the trip (and gas) by doing much of your banking from your mobile device. This includes checking your balances, depositing checks, text banking, and more!*
2) Go Paperless by opting into eDocumentsFrom account statements to notices to tax documents, you can securely access your Kinecta documents electronically. Your eDocuments will be conveniently available within your Online Banking account, including via our Mobile Banking app. Login to Kinecta Direct Online Banking or our Mobile Banking App to set your eDocuments preferences.3) Pay Bills using Online Bill PayIf you’re still paying bills the old fashion way, save yourself the paper check and postage stamp and enroll in Online Bill Pay. You’ll enjoy the added peace of mind and convenience of knowing that your bills will be automatically paid, and you can even access it via our Mobile Banking App. Enroll in Bill Pay through Kinecta Direct Online Banking.4) Don’t print the ATM Receipt Do you throw away the ATM receipt immediately after it has been dispensed? Save the paper waste and hassle. Next time you’re at a Kinecta ATM, just click on the Preferences button and set your ATM preferences to not print a receipt for withdrawal transactions.
5) Come to Shred Fest on April 21, 9am-Noon Kinecta is hosting this FREE community event where you can dispose of paper of all kinds: phonebooks, magazines, newspapers, file & hanging folders and even 3-ring binders**. Visit any of these locations: - Manhattan Beach Member Service Center (MSC) – 1440 Rosecrans Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
